Yahoo Groups

Lenny, I hope that you can help out on this one.

I was able to send my emails to yahoo groups from LML. However, now I am not.

The response that I get from Yahoo Groups whenever I send using LML is:-
"Your email was not delivered for policy reasons."

However, if I were to log into my Yahoo account and sent it from there, it goes through without a hitch.

I did a bit of searching, and this is what I found:-

1) your ISP has been blacklisted. You have to
contact it so it has itself delisted.

2) Please add SPF records for your DNS and send the mail.

I hope that you could sort this out.

Best Wishes,

Robert

I experience exactly the same problem with Yahoo groups and gmail account. Is there any workaround for this?

I have the same problem. It seems nowadays you have to be authenticated into yahoo groups to be able to post there. So... i don't think this can be fixed.

I just signed up for lettermelater for the sole purpose of scheduling emails through Yahoo Groups and experienced this exact problem. Please let us know if this is a fixable problem, or if I need to find an alternate solution.

Same problem.Reason is the mail sent via LML is not from server that Yahoo uses.Hence it is unrecognized.I tried various means and did lots of searching w/o success.same with facebook.one of the suggestion was use Yahoo plus which is a paid service. There are other paid add-on utility too.
There has to be some easy simple route if SMTP server details can be known. Some knowledgeable person may help us.

I am seeing the same issue. For other that have looked into this, if I setup LML to email to my gmail account and setup forwarding to the yahoo group, do you think that might work?
